Position Overview:
Join our team as an RBT dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals in need. We are looking for a compassionate individual with a background in behavioral health and a passion for helping others.
Consistent Schedule: Guaranteed 30-hour workweek during the school year, with hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. School Holidays are rostered shifts. The clinic operates year-round. School and Clinic are at the same location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support individual therapy goals and foster positive behavioral change.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care activities related to behavioral therapy, following established protocols and care plans.
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of medical information, therapy progress, and individual care plans.
- Collaborate closely with the behavioral health team, including therapists, caregivers, and educators, to ensure effective and cohesive treatment strategies.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and handle sensitive medical information with professionalism.
- Provide support to individuals with special education needs, especially children, to promote their social and emotional development.
- Engage in activities designed to encourage positive behaviors and social skills in patients, particularly those with developmental and behavioral challenges.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active RBT Certification Number.
- Has at least 1 year of ABA experience.
- Has a passion to work with children in the autism spectrum and other abilities.
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and methods.
- Familiarity with patient care practices within behavioral health settings.
- Experience creating and implementing individualized care plans.
- Understanding of behavioral therapy principles and their practical applications.
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and collaborate effectively with diverse professionals.
- Strong communication, documentation, and attention to detail skills.
